The story is known worldwide, having to do with the last days of Willie Loman, a failing salesman.  Through a tragic series of soul-searching revelations of the life he has lived with his wife, his sons, and his business associates, Willie seeks to find out just where and how he has failed to win success and happiness. His shattered dreams and downward spiral into despair make a thrilling work of deep and revealing beauty.  Arguably the finest piece of American theatre, Death of a Salesman won the 1949 Pulitzer Prize, and the Tony for Best Play, and has continued to garner numerous prizes ever since.
